Anna Gunn

She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love performing in the Preparatory school before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a time studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked at the theatre of the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her hand at television as well as films. Anna made her debut in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as guest stars on a handful of TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was tapped in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was assigned to Deadwood for the part of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also among the highlights of her professional career. Gunn has also appeared on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also played a role in a 4-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's relationships with his wife Skyler. Their uneasy bond and eventual demise reflect the devastating end for Walter White.
