She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love performing in the Preparatory school before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a time studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked at the theatre of the Chicago region for a couple of years, before attempting her hand at television as well as films. Anna made her debut in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore.
